We are pleased to announce the Ed Tours for February/March 2013, with some exciting new additions to the schedule.

Russia
February 22- March 2

This trip includes tours in Moscow and St. Petersburg, along with side trips to Pushkin and Novgorod. Cadets will be accompanied by President McGeorge, who holds a degree in Sino-Soviet history, and Admissions director Phillip Dunbridge, who completed part of his graduate studies in Moscow. Cadets can see the beauty of St. Basil's Cathedral, hear the stories of Red Square and the Kremlin, and get a history lesson that will change their lives. Peru
February 22 - March 2

Visit cities like Cuzco and Lima, ancient sites such as Machu Picchu and the San Francisco Monastery, and more on this Ed Tour to Peru. This trip also includes two days of invaluable cultural and spiritual education via service learning, which will also count toward a cadet's community service requirements. Cost of the trip is $3,250, and a $1,000 deposit must be placed by November 12. Contact MMA Spanish teacher LT Andrea Vollrath for information.


Washington, D.C.
February 25 - March 2

Cadets will learn about U.S. history and culture in our nation's capital, visiting historic monuments, the Smithsonian, the White House, the U.S. Naval Academy and more. Cost of the trip is $1,850 with cash or check or $1,900 with a credit card. Contact CPT Steven Wolf for details.


Pine Ridge Reservation (South Dakota)
February 22- March 2

Cadets will experience a great service learning opportunity when they travel to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, where they will give their time to Re-Member, a non-profit organization that gives support to and educates people about the Native Americans who inhabit the reservation. Cadets would take a day trip to see nearby Mount Rushmore. Cost of the trip is $800 with cash or check or $825 with a credit card. Space is very limited - contact MAJ Rick Boyce for information.

East Coast College Tour
March 10-16

On this trip, cadets will see the sites of Boston, New York and Philadelphia and the picturesque states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and more. Included on this trip are tours of the nation's most notable universities - MIT, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, UPenn, Dartmouth, and Norwich. Cost of the trip is $3,000 with cash or check or $3,100 with a credit card. Contact LTC Scherrer for details.
