Meet the Staff

Gary can share fun, fascinating stories about MMA history, one of many ways he exemplifies a lifelong dedication to his beloved alma mater. Gary returned to MMA in 2010 after a successful career as a professional recruiter and has since worked with hundreds of families interested in the opportunities available to them at MMA.

Gary graduated from the University of Missouri in St. Louis, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in History. His wife Dee knows almost as much about MMA, having traveled to campus for alumni events for many years. 

Jackie Li came to MMA from the University of Missouri. Jackie splits her time between the admissions office and the classroom, in which she teaches Chinese to our students. She acts as a liaison to our Chinese families.

Michelle comes to MMA from Southern California, where she was working for an international sales firm. She is fluent in English and in Spanish, which makes her a resource for families and cadets from Spanish-speaking countries. Michelle has a degree in international business from Cal State Fullerton.

Marc came to MMA after serving as the Defensive Coordinator for the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggies football program. After inheriting a program with a 0-26 record the staff stabilized the program through strong recruiting culminating in the school’s first winning season since 2004. Marc Wilson coached under Coach Mike Wyatt for 4 years at OPSU and for 3 years as Defensive Coordinator for the RiverCity Rage Pro Indoor Football team in St. Louis. He also helped guide the Christian Brothers College High School to the Missouri 6A State Championship game in 2006 prior to joining the Aggies.

Marc received his undergraduate degree while playing collegiate football in the Southeastern Conference at the University of Kentucky. Then, he moved on to Georgia Southern where he earned his Master's degree while serving as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.

When he is not at MMA, Marc likes to spend time with his dogs, Runt and Suede. He is also a talented gardener and BBQ chef.  

Mitch graduated from MMA in 1982. He returned to his alma mater in 2012 upon retirement from an exciting career training policemen around the world (his last stint was in Iraq). Prior to joining the Admissions team, he was one of our faculty mentors.

Mitch shares his diverse skills with cadets in a unique capacity - he is the MMA SCUBA instructor. As a multi-certified instructor, he is able to give our students the life-changing experience that is SCUBA.

Sandy helps new families with the enrollment process at MMA. She manages the paperwork and records for enrolling students and is the friendly voice on the other end of the phone. Prior to her MMA career, she worked in the Development office at Westminster College and owned a general store and cafe in Martinsburg, Mo.
