is a part of the Railsplitters Living History Company, a group of historians who recreate the WWII soldier. The Railsplitters attend various WWII reenactments around the Midwest, which include tactical battles, public displays, or other events. The name comes from the namesake of the division represented, the 84th Infantry Division, which fought in the Battle of the Bulge and the drive into the heart of Germany.

MMA cadets represent the roles of an infantryman, medic, cook and machine gunner. The Railsplitters train using correct uniforms, weapons and tactics to accurately portray the WWII soldier. The Railsplitters is the only such group at a military academy in the US, and provides both an insight into WWII history, as well as leadership opportunities. To participate, the cadet must be in good academic and disciplinary standing.
